Terms of Service

Clear rules for finding local services, managing business openings, and taking part in the NOWGO neighborhood community.

Last updated: October 31, 2026 · Applies to NOWGO’s website and web app, including nowgo.live.

1. Using NOWGO

NOWGO is an online platform for discovering nearby services, requesting appointment times, publishing service openings, and participating in local conversations. By creating an account or using its interactive features, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines.

Some features are in early access and may change, be unavailable, or require account verification. NOWGO is not an emergency service.

2. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or post in the community.
  • Provide accurate registration details, protect your password, and do not impersonate another person or business.
  • You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. Do not allow another person to use it without authorization.
  • Only publish someone else’s photographs, personal details, or business material when you have permission.

3. Services, bookings, prices and payments

Service providers—not NOWGO—perform and are responsible for the services they offer, including workmanship, professional qualifications, safety, pricing, scheduling, cancellations, and any applicable taxes.

Availability and prices come from provider listings and can change. Instant bookings are confirmed only after the app displays a confirmation number. A manual booking request is not confirmed until the provider accepts it. Check the exact service scope, date, price, cancellation policy and any additional fees directly with the provider before your appointment. Customer star ratings are available from 1 to 5 only after a confirmed booking date has passed; they do not independently prove that a service took place.

NOWGO does not currently collect payment-card details or process customer payments through the app. If a provider asks you to pay outside NOWGO, independently verify the provider and the payment terms. Avoid advance transfers to strangers.

4. Requirements for businesses

  • List only services you are authorized and qualified to provide; maintain any license, insurance, or permit required by law.
  • Describe services, real availability, discounts, and fees accurately. Do not use false scarcity, misleading before-and-after images, or fabricated reviews.
  • Obtain permission before posting photographs of customers or children.
  • Businesses and new services must be approved by a NOWGO administrator before appearing publicly. Approval is a platform listing review—not a guarantee of identity, licensing, insurance, background screening, or service quality.

5. Community posts, likes, comments and events

You retain ownership of your original content. When you publish a post, comment, photo or event, you give NOWGO a non-exclusive permission to store, display, distribute within the service, and technically process that content to operate the platform. This does not transfer ownership to NOWGO.

Neighborhood posts and profiles are visible to signed-in neighbors in the same registered city; approved public event listings may be visible to visitors. Submitted events remain pending and are not publicly listed until an administrator approves them. Do not publish confidential information or assume that deleting a post removes screenshots or copies made by others.

Follow the Community Guidelines. You must not harass people, reveal private addresses, organize fraud, upload unlawful material, or disguise sponsored advertising as neighbor conversation. Businesses should use approved listings rather than unsolicited neighborhood promotions.

6. Moderation and reporting

NOWGO may remove inappropriate content, restrict or suspend accounts, and review reported listings or community posts when reasonably necessary for safety, compliance or platform operations. Reports may be reviewed after submission; a report does not guarantee immediate intervention. You can use the Report option on posts and comments.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services rather than relying on NOWGO.

7. Your safety and platform limitations

Use your own judgment when choosing providers or arranging meetings. Check credentials where relevant, meet in safe locations when appropriate, and keep sensitive personal or financial information private.

NOWGO aims to keep its features available and accurate, but cannot promise continuous availability or guarantee the truth of user-generated material, provider claims, or event information. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be waived.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms as features evolve or laws change. An updated date will be displayed on this page, and material changes may also be communicated in the app. Changes do not remove rights you already have under applicable law.

9. Privacy and personal information

Account information, published content, booking requests and optional location details are used to operate the relevant features. Community posts are visible to signed-in members of the same registered city, while approved public commercial listings may be visible to visitors. Account passwords and authentication are handled through our authentication provider. Do not share private information in public posts.

Read the Privacy Policy for more detail about information used by the current features and how to submit a privacy or deletion request. Some operator and vendor details still require confirmation before general commercial launch.

Early-access notice. NOWGO’s legal operator details, support contact and comprehensive privacy disclosures still require confirmation before a general commercial launch. This page is a starting policy, not a substitute for professional legal review.
