1. Information We Collect›

Account details: email address, public or display name, authentication identifiers and account settings. Password authentication is handled by our authentication service; NOWGO's public profiles do not display your password.

Bookings and business listings: service selections, requests, appointment dates, booking status, business names, service descriptions, photos, prices, hours and business locations submitted by providers.

Private business verification: business contact phone number, representative name, physical business address and ZIP code, service category, submitted website, license or permit numbers and supporting proof documents where applicable. Verification information is accessible to the submitting business owner and NOWGO administrators with additional authentication, not to neighbors or public visitors. Once approved, businesses may publish only the separate public listing information they choose to provide.

Community: public nickname, optional profile photo, city, posts, uploaded images, event participation, likes, comments and reports. Approved community events and ordinary published posts can be visible to other visitors. Pending and rejected events are limited to their organizers and authorized moderators in the app.

Account and business safety reports: when you report a community account or business, NOWGO records your account identifier, the account or business reported, the reason selected, your description, the date and the moderator\u0027s review status or notes. Do not include other people\u0027s private information in the report.

Support: email address, message, issue category, request status and any information voluntarily provided in your support request.

Technical information: information normally needed to serve and secure the site, such as IP addresses, browser/device information and service logs handled by the infrastructure providers. Authentication uses session storage or cookies as technically required.

Location: the city and state you assign to your NOWGO account, provider-submitted business locations, and browser location only when you choose to grant device permission. Your selected city is used to restrict local posts, events and service results, but entering a city does not verify residence. Do not submit a home address publicly unless you intend it to be visible.

2. How We Use Your Information›
  • Provide sign-in, account profiles, search, recommendations, neighborhood posts and service listings.
  • Let customers request appointments and let providers review booking requests.
  • Limit neighborhood posts, local events and services to the member’s registered city and support local likes, comments and event attendance.
  • Review safety reports, business applications, support questions and potential misuse.
  • Maintain the platform, investigate technical problems and protect user accounts.
3. Sharing Your Information›

Community members: published neighborhood posts, photos, public nicknames and the city of those posts are visible to signed-in members of the same registered city. Public visitors may still see approved commercial business listings.

Businesses: information connected to appointment requests for their own services, as permitted by the platform.

Service providers: NOWGO uses infrastructure and authentication/database providers, including Vercel and Supabase. The site also loads some externally hosted images. These providers may process technical data needed to operate their services.

Safety reports: community account and business reports are not publicly displayed or shared with the reported account through NOWGO. Authorized administrators with additional verification can review the report and related details for moderation; disclosure may still be required by law.

Safety or legal requests: information may be reviewed by authorized administrators and may need to be disclosed where legally required.

NOWGO does not currently collect payment-card numbers through its booking flow. Do not send payment-card details in posts or support requests. This policy is not a claim that statutory privacy laws never apply or that every third-party practice has already been audited.

4. Your Choices›
  • Edit your display name and other available details through My Account.
  • Delete your own community posts and comments using their menus. Existing screenshots or copies made by other people are outside the platform's control.
  • Block another community user to hide their posts and comments from your signed-in feed; blocking does not prevent public access outside your account.
  • Use Request account deletion to submit a verified, human-reviewed request. A request must be verified and processed; it does not immediately delete your account. On verified deletion, associated data must be removed unless legally justified retention applies.
  • Submit a privacy or data request to ask for access, correction or deletion. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder. Applicable rights and exceptions depend on the law.
5. Data Security & Retention›

Data is kept as needed to operate features, handle safety/support issues and meet legal obligations. A retention schedule and a verified processing procedure must be finalized before launch; no fixed retention period is represented here. We use authentication and database access controls, but no online system can guarantee perfect security.

Personal data and content may remain in backups, safety records or legally required records after deletion requests, where applicable. We will assess such requests rather than promise immediate permanent erasure.

6. Children's Privacy›

NOWGO accounts and public community participation are intended for adults age 18 and older. Do not post identifying information or photographs of children without appropriate permission.

7. Changes to This Policy›

When this notice changes, the updated date will appear here. Material changes may also be communicated in the app. Practices that require additional notice or choices will be reviewed before implementation.

8. Contact & Privacy Requests›

Use the NOWGO Help & Support form and choose “Privacy & data”. For account deletion, you can use the account deletion request page. Please do not include identification documents or sensitive financial information in an ordinary support request.

Launch readiness: the legal entity operating NOWGO, a verified business contact address, detailed vendor disclosures and applicable state-law rights still need final confirmation. This notice explains current implemented features and must receive legal review before a full commercial launch.
